I started using grocery coupons over 15 years ago. I considered myself a frugal shopper. I averaged $2 on my three times a week grocery shopping. That's right!! I went to the grocery store as often as I ate fast food. I could never afford to buy enough groceries to eat for 1-2 weeks. It is difficult for me to believe the amount of money I wasted at my local grocers. For the past two years, I have been a TRUE avid grocer coupon shopper. This change was initiated by the increased gas prices.
I really am a registered nurse. Also, I am a full time mom with a full time job. I cover the spectrum with parenting responsibilites. I am the parent attending all the school functions, handling sibling disputes, landscaper, home improver, warden, teenage relationship counselor, homework and school project assistant. I am sure there are some duties I have omitted. Despite this full time schedule, I am able to maintain my coupon shopping habit.
I created this blog to help others make the change to economical grocery shopping. There are always new developments with coupon shopping. My site contains 7 steps that are often updated with new tips.
